Pet care experience
I took great care of my two dogs for the great part of the last decade! Unfortunately they are not with us anymore, and one year is too long of a void without animals in my life. Good with older, younger, and ALL lovable dogs and cats!

Peter is a dog-lover through and through! He cares for our pup like Rigby is his own, with incredible love and attention. Peter has jumped in to care for Rigby at short notice, and it is always a relief to know we have someone so kind and trustworthy to turn to! We can’t recommend Peter enough! He’s the best!

I have a small back yard with turf area to go pee/poop on, fenced off, and even access with a doggy door. My neighborhood is quiet and well maintained so the walks are very great for dogs! I’m happy to let the dog or cat sleep on my bed with me. It’s a low rising king size bed so there is plenty of space! It is a two-story home, so there are stairs to go from living room to bedroom. I own the home and have one roommate (one of my best friends), who is also a huge animal lover.

Please let me know your pet’s favorite activity and environment. I want your pet to be as comfortable as possible when they are with me and I’m flexible. If they are staying in my home, let me know if they are good with STAIRS! Because we have stairs here. I can avoid them if that’s the case. Lastly, for walks, please let me know if they are good with sniffing other dogs! I’ll resort to not allowing contact, but if that’s something you’re comfortable with, I open to it! Safety is my biggest priority.
A typical day
Depends on the animal! If they like running, I will run! If they like lounging, I’ll lounge! I am versatile and just want to make them happy. I would love to keep them active as much as possible, because it not only makes them happy, but me too!

I have my own design business that I run from home, so I am home all-day quite often. I have missed having a dog to take care of during this time. I do travel out of town quite often, but I will block those days off if my calendar.
