Pet care experience
I grew up with multiple dogs and cats in the family, then took care of my own cat for the last 15 years. I've sat for many friends and clients over the last year, boarding and housesitting. I work part time, so I have a lot of time home to spend with your critter(s). I'm a big time lover and carer of all the furry creatures, so I'm more than excited to take care of your pet and treat them like they were my own while you're out of town.

We have a senior dog on three medications, a young pup who's a bundle of energy and a crazy cat who thinks he's the boss. Not an easy cast of characters. Peter's calm, intelligent, friendly demeanor made him fast friends with our pets. His rock solid reliability, clear communication and attention to details set our minds at ease. Peter is our top choice when we need pet sitting - the dogs and crazy cat agree - and can't wait to see him next time!
Peter is the best! He's great at communicating, sending photos, and putting your mind at ease while you're away. You can tell that he really loves spending time with the animals and treats them as his own. Bub loved him and got excellent care, couldn't recommend more!

I have a spacious apartment in Los Feliz, and am happy to take the dog out as much as needed; cats will have a decent amount of room to roam inside. I can crate if necessary, but prefer to set the environment however makes the pet most comfortable. I have no children or other pets in the apartment so yours will be the star of the show.

A typical day
For cats, my game plan is to pet them, toss a toy around for them, and they can lounge around the apartment while I write music, watch TV or make food. Same regimen goes for dogs, except also I like to go on a lot of walks around Los Feliz and Griffith Park.

Availability
I work Tuesday through Friday 9-5, and spend most evenings at home. My 'going out' on weekends is typically in the form of hiking, so if you have an active dog they will be my adventure buddy! I'm available to board or housesit 7 nights a week, or do house calls on evenings and weekends.
