Pet care experience
In short, I have 6 cats and I will treat yours like s.he is mine. I'll respect his/her space, pet him/her when s.he asks for, play if s.he's into playing. But of course, following your rules/directives. Now a little bit of my life: I adopted my first dog in 1999, when I was 15 years old. At that time, I lived with my mother in Brazil, but I was the one who took care of him: I made his food, took him for walks, played with him. When I moved to Canada, I had to leave him with my mother so that I could find a place to live here and once settled, he would come here. Unfortunately a few weeks before he came, he passed away. I took care of him for 13 years. I volunteered as a dog walker at the SPCA for a few months until I got a job as a pet sitter and worked with that for 1 year when I moved off the island of Montreal. A while later, the woman I worked with as a sitter, called me to work at the dog daycare she was opening. I was responsible for the training, cleaning the environment, walks... I stayed with her for another year. As my son got older, he kept asking me for a pet. But with my work at the time, I couldn't adopt a dog due to lack of time. So, after much insistence from him, we adopted a cat. That's when I started accumulating cats, helping out at the shelters as foster family or for capture. Nowadays I already have my clowder and I try to help when I can in the rescues here in the area. My cats have an Instagram profile @ purrfect.six I speak English, French and Portuguese.
Reviews
Peter did a fantastic drop during his drop in visits, I couldn’t have asked for a better service. It was my first time using rover and he truly impressed by communicating lots of details and leaving lots of photos. I highly recommend
Peter did drop-in visits for my two cats. He is great at communicating, sent lots of photos and detailed notes. He took great care of them ! I would highly recommend him.
This is my first time leaving my pets with someone other than family members and I could not be happier with the care Peter gave! I would recommend him to anyone looking for pet care. He knew I was nervous leaving them alone for a week and he sent daily pictures and updates which I could not be more grateful for!
I picked up Luna from Peter the last time he boarded her, and I am again very pleased with the services that he offers. Lune seems to enjoy herself while she is being with Peter and it makes us feel comfortable leaving her in care we can trust. It's important that people know that he does good work and his dedication and care do not go unnoticed. For owners leaving their dog's behind or opening your house's door, trust is very important and I would feel comfortable leaving Luna in his care anytime.

My cats don't go outside. They have my backyard, which is 100% safe for them. I have an extra large room if I need to bring a cat home.
Information Peter A. would like to know about your pet
How's the dog's temperament: is (s)he aggressive towards other dogs? And cats? And people? What about the activity level? Is (s)he obedient? Any dietary needs/restrictions and medical issues? It's always good to know the location and phone number of the vet in case of emergencies. Also let me know the schedule of when the owner usually feeds and walks the dog.
A typical day
it will depend on what the owner asks me to do with the pet. I can stay inside, outside, walk, play, both. I'd rather go for a solo walk than go to a dog's park.

As I'm working from home, I have a very flexible schedule and I can definitely fit your furry baby needs throughout my day. I clean my cats litter boxes twice a day and feed them with wet food twice a day. Their dry food is scheduled to drop 6x per day.
