Hey, I’m Angela and I provide a loving home for dog whilst you are on holiday or at work. My husband and I understand that kennels are not a good environment for dogs so pride ourselves on giving your dog all the love and care we give to our own. They will be part of our family whilst they stay with us. Home The dogs have constant access to our secure garden with fencing and CCTV covering the entrance. The dogs will have free roaming around ground floor of the house and sleep in the utility area with our own dogs. Training During their time with us we provide 121 basic training free of charge. This focuses on walking to heal, recall, food manners and threshold manners (The essentials). Please just let us know what you would like us to work on with your dog during their time with us. All training is done with positive reinforcement and never with harsh training methods. Puppy Power Getting a new pup is always great fun and we know how essential those first few days, weeks and months are in forming a well mannered pet. We can offer your puppy 121 training to house break & socialize them in a range of environments. This is free of charge for day care however if the puppy is boarding with us and is not house trained i charge an additional £5 per night. I charge this extra as i will wake on the hour every hour throughout the night to give your puppy a toilet break opportunity. This does not teach them they can go anytime they want but builds them up to sleeping full nights without the need.

I couldn't recommend Angela and her family enough. They looked after our little old beagle for almost 2 weeks and I felt so comfortable leaving her with them. I got updates when I asked for them and didn't feel I had to worry at all. I wouldn't hesitate to ask Angela and her family to look after Penny again if we needed it. Thank you so much!

Merlina had a fantastic time with Martin & family. I received lots of pictures and was happy to know she enjoyed lots of outdoors walks during her stay. We could tell from the pictures she had settled well and was enjoying and we confirmed it when we picked her up that she had had a great time. We have had our dog on boarding several times and with several families; all good experiences and this one was no exception :) Would definitely recommend Martin and looking forward to the next time.

Health and safety We have full public liability insurance and are licensed by the local authority. We only accept pets who are appropriately vaccinated and insured. We are K9 first aid trained and kit always on hand but thankfully not often needed. Prior to each visit a deep clean is conducted of the area's used both indoors and out.

Please provide me with: 1. Your dogs health insurance details before or at the time of all bookings. 2. Food 3. Any developmental / training needs they have or that you would like me to work on with them. I do not take any dog who is or has shown aggressive tendencies to people or other dogs. If you have a reactive dog (one that barks at other dogs) then please let me know and we can discuss during a meet and greet. I will only take 1 dog at a time when working with a reactive dog. This carries an extra charge of £10 as i will work exclusively with your dog to socialize them safely and learn the correct behaviors. Whilst i have broken reactive behaviors in many dogs in the first few days it does require continued work and commitment from the owner when the dog returns home.
A typical day
I will walk your dog in a number of different environments to meet their needs. My aim is to have all dogs in my care able to go into any reasonable environment comfortably. So whilst the majority of the walks will be in the countryside across fields and safe country lanes i can on request introduce your dog to busier public places like shopping centers and cafe's, it’s something I am very used to doing.

Availability
Walks start at 05:00 and finish at 21:00 each day. When your dog is boarding with us they will be worked as per their needs, simply as much or as little as they require. My usual day consists of a minimum of 6 miles split across 2 walks through various fields with retrieving and scent games.
