I’ve had pets all of my life and have two dogs presently. I recommend not boarding because Its hard on some pets in unfamiliar surroundings and may experience separation anxiety in their owner’s absence. I will try to reduce that by being attentive. Exercise, play time, making sure they are fed using your guidelines if on a certain diet, also providing fresh water, administering any necessary medications. If a lap pet that’s great too! For Cat owners I will provide the same including cleaning their litter box and may provide other care upon request. I retired early with a good career and now want to utilize my spare time by taking care of other’s fur babies. A well cared for Pet makes for a happy pet.
