Pet care experience
I have owned dogs almost my entire life. My pets aren't just pets but a part of my family. I know how difficult it is to have to leave your pet & have someone else watch your furry family member. I would love to make it easier for you. I will care for your pet as if they were my own.

Ruby had a great time at Penny's home and playing with her dog Bowie. Penny provided regular updates that included photos of her walking Ruby as well as a video of a play session in her spacious backyard! We were so appreciative of the updates and attention that Ruby received for staying with Penny and her family for the day. We are so happy we found Penny! Highly recommend!!
Penny loves animals and has always been great with her four legged loved ones. She and her dog Bowie go on walks almost daily. I think she would be an excellent person to walk or take care of your pet. And Bowie would love to have a friend to play with.
I have personally known Penny since 1985. I would not only vouch for her character, but also her love for animals, especially raccoons. Her dogs have spanned our friendship and will continue to do so. Highly recommended.

I have a fenced in back yard and my dog Bowie would love to keep your dog(s) company. They can play indoors & out. We also have a big front window where Bowie loves to people, bird & squirrel watch.

Please let me know ahead of time if your dog is not fully potty trained. Also please know that I do have a medium sized dog (Bowie) in my home at all times. He is super friendly and loves to meet new dogs & people. He does bark when people come to the door and will also bark at new people & dogs. But he stops rather quickly. Unless you are a squirrel and then all bets are off.
A typical day
We have lots of toys & plenty of room to play around in our fenced in back yard. I also love to take walks, either around the neighborhood or if ok with clients, hop in the car a short distance to do the 3 mile loop around the Rose Bowl. I can also walk in your neighborhoods. I carry a doggy bowl, water & a whistle (coyote deterrent) with me on all our walks.

Availability
As a homemaker, I have very flexible hours. Most weekdays it's just me & my best buddy, Bowie hanging out. We love walks but we also love relaxing. Bowie loves to look out our big front window at the birds & squirrels that visit our feeders.
