Pet care experience
I have always had a great compassion for animals, I love them all! I have had a few pets through the years that came with medical issues which has given me a lot of experience giving medications. I have 2 rescue dogs right now, Barrie and Lily who love to have sleepovers with friends. My last rescue was diagnosed with imha within a few months of getting her and we spent many months going back and forth to a specialist in Massachusetts. She fought hard and ultimately left us heartbroken for the short time that we had our sweet Jingle Belle. She deserved so much more! I would take in more rescues if I could, so taking care of your pets would be a joy.

Penny is fantastic! Lola enjoys her stays every time.
This is the second time Ollie has stayed with Penny while we were away on a trip. She made sure that we were kept updated with news, photos and videos of Ollie every day. I trust her totally with our fur baby and it is obvious Ollie loves her also. We would highly recommend Penny and will continue to choose Penny any time we need someone to take care of Ollie.
Again Penny did a wonderful job with our senior dog and would highly recommend her!

I have a large fenced in yard for plenty of fun and exercise. I always go outside with the dogs, never unsupervised. They will get low calorie snacks throughout the day, and 1 dental treat at bedtime if allowed. My dogs, as well as most of my clients dogs are small breeds and prefer to be with smaller dogs. It would be best to do a meet and greet to introduce the pups beforehand when possible. I will take care of dogs up to 30 pounds depending on the age, breed, and energy level. We want your pups, as well as ours to feel safe and happy, And for all to have a great time during their stay.

Let me know how I can make your pet feel at home. What are your pets likes and dislikes, how does your pet interact with other animals, any food aggression? Where does your dog usually sleep during the night? What is your pets food schedule and amount of food daily? Any allergies? Is your pet allowed on furniture and/or allowed on the bed?
A typical day
We go in and out all day into our big fenced in yard. So, lots of potty breaks even in bad weather conditions. We love summer and spend many hours outside. We will run and play, explore, or just hang out on the patio. We have lots of toys to play with inside too. We will go for walks around the neighborhood if it is not too cold or hot. I have a nice pet stroller for those that love to go out on walks but physically unable to do so. Just let me know if that is the case.

Availability
I will be at home to take care of your pet for most of the time. I may leave the house for a couple of hours for an appointment, but try to avoid while I am pet sitting. If your pet is crate trained, I do have extra crates if you prefer not to bring your own. Crate trained is not a requirement.
