Pet care experience
I have had many different breeds of dog's in my life time, from German Shepard 's to Heinz 57 mutts. I have administered many a pill to many a dog including insulin injections. I can read their moods and sense when they are afraid, nervous or anxious. I love to see the "wag" in their tail when they are happy and feeling silly. My current companion is a 12 year old German Shorthair Pointer, rescued from a starvation and abusive environment. He has been my biggest challenge requiring ton's of patience and calmness. To me they are not just "A Dog" I like to approach new dog clients on their terms. I feel it's always best to meet in a neutral territory and let them them take their time sniffing and getting to know me first before I walk starts. I have also owned and cared for rabbits.

I have a fenced yard but my dog, a 12 yr old Pointer is mostly inside with me. He is given fresh water daily and two walks a day. He has never been kenneled and has always slept in his bed next to my bed. I can assure Pet Parent's your fur babies will be well care for under my care.

Availability
I prefer clients in my zip code area 89134 I am retired recently, moving here from Colorado. It's a beautiful community to walk in and I particular like The Trails and the surrounding area. It won't be hard for me to find places to walk for 30 minutes or more because we just leash up and go. I can be available 7 days a week for walking or drop in services I don't use or recommend retractable dog leashes.
