Aloha, I have had dogs and cats all my life, but after my recent move to Kauai, I am now just helping others with their pets. I consider myself a dog whisperer (lol! but I do!). I live on 3 acres in Kahuna Valley (kapaa) (there are chickens and pigs wild here). The yard is fenced except for one small area waiting on a new gate. I love pets and animals of all kinds (birds too, I used to have cockatoos, parakeets, cockatiels-I'm happy to watch them as well!) I give all pets a ton of love and attention and I'll let them follow me around all day and hang out with me. I also have a home on the ocean in Anahola and can take to the beach with me and for rides in the car! I love hiking and live walking distance to a fabulous hike, happy to wear your dog out for you!

Our 12 year old dog came back from Penny’s a little tired but it looks like the kind of tired you get after a great vacation. Penny is on a large property near the mountains in a very quiet area and I am sure our dog wanted to investigate everywhere and everything. Penny supplied pictures and rover/text messages during his stay and kept us informed. I also like that Penny boards only one dog at a time and I think this helps our dog relax a bit more. Overall we are very happy with our dog’s boarding.
Benji loves Penny and so do we! Penny lives on a beautiful secluded property perfect for dog sitting. When we dropped Benji off for his second visit he was so happy to see Penny again, which we took as a very good sign, that she treats him well in our absence.
Thank you, Penny, for taking great care of Tyrone! We loved getting pictures of him at the stream and seeing him having a great time while we were away. You're part of our pack now : ) Aloha, Erik and Margaret.
Penny has a natural born gift when it comes to working with animals. Her patients, kindness, and creativity will ensure any dog is entertained while under her care. Penny invested her time and energy into training our crazy puppy- within months she had our wild pup sitting, shaking, rolling over, and even helping "clean the kitchen" (shutting cabinets) upon command. I highly recommend Penny as a dog sitter! You and your four legged friend won't be disappointed.

Hikes through beautiful Kahuna Valley or Makaleha Falls. Beach walks in Anahola (when I'm there). I have a pool they can swim in and also 3 acres-they can follow me around while I do yard work. I have big lanais and a big house they can relax in while I'm inside.
