Pet care experience
I’ve been pet sitting on rover since July 2023 and I love it. I love meeting new dogs and cats to spend time with and give attention to. I think that it’s really important to find a pet sitter you can trust and I’d love to sit for you. I do work a part-time job, so I usually work 3 or 4 days a week and my shifts are between 4-7 hours. But i’ll come straight to your home after work and make sure your pets have everything they could ever need. Animals make me really happy and I would like to make you happy by being a trust worthy sitter. Request a booking if you’d like to schedule a day for me to meet your animals!

Penelope was super sweet and very easy to interact with at our introduction. She was very understanding of each of our dog’s temperaments and handled them accordingly. Her communication was great and I was always able to get a response/update from her in a timely manner. Penelope stayed at our home and treated it well, making sure to clean up after herself and the pups! We trust her to take care of our babies and will definitely use her again in the future.
Penelope was fantastic, it was the first time I have left my boys with someone who was not my parents. Kane is a very reactive, velcro dog, who is overall a difficult dog, and she was phenomenal with him. Bo is a very energetic young dog who is still working on training and she didn't even bat an eye! We will definitely be using Penelope again!
Penelope is an amazing caregiver for my two old girls. They require much attention and she goes above and beyond for them. After sitting with them for a week and seeing how happy they were, Penelope will be my go to sitter from now on. I’m comforted knowing I have someone I can trust to take good care of my sweet pups. They are 13 and 15 years old and the loves of my life. Thank you Penelope!!!!

If you are going away on a long trip or you have a pet that needs extra care, I can stay with them while you enjoy a getaway. I’ll make sure they’re fed on time and not any later, I’ll take them outside to potty when they usually have to go, make sure they take any meds if they need them, and give them attention throughout the day. Any other needs just let me know and I’ll make sure that they are met.

It’s important I’m told if they have any kind of disability or things like separation anxiety. Medications they need are also important if they need any at all. Do they need to be watched carefully when outside? Do they eat things they shouldn’t that I should keep an eye out for? Do they get upset around other animals?
A typical day
I won’t do anything with your dog that you aren’t okay with nor will I take them somewhere without having the okay. If you’re okay with me taking your dog to a nearby park for a walk I will, or I’ll take them for a walk in your neighborhood. Activities just depend on the breed of dog and their age or size. I’ll know what kind of activity they need based on those factors.

I have my own dog and she can be a handful, but I love her lots. She’s an english bulldog and she’s deaf, so she can be extra hard headed, but I love caring for her. Her name is Nellie.
