Pet care experience
Besides owning a senior Dachshund of my own and now a super energetic puppy, I have taken care of many animals ranging from dogs, cats, to even birds. I am very familiar with the walking, playing, cleaning, and caring for animals and since I have a senior dog who is anxious and incontinent I can also help with the medicating and caring for your more sensitive pet. I am also able to brush teeth and groom pets if needed. I am currently a college student that is taking classes remotely so I am very flexible and available to take care of your pets at almost any time. I have access to a car and I am an avid biker/walker that will go the extra mile to provide my services anywhere in the area!

Penelope has taken care of my blind, 11 year old dachshund for the last couple of years. Penelope is punctual, very respectful, reliable, and takes very good care of Tuli. The reason why I choose Penelope over anyone else to watch after our dog is because I know she will be taking good care of him, she is patient with him, plays with him, and he absolutely loves her! I have no complains about Penelope's service and I hope I can count on her for years to come. She is also a very lovely human being :-)

I have a senior incontinent blind dog and an aggressive puppy so I use gates to cater to their needs. I will not be housing pets in my home because of these variables that make it difficult to handle another animal in the same environment, but I guarantee to keep your pet happy and healthy in the comfort of their home. I try to take a very gentle and understanding approach because all pets are different, and if able, I like to use treats, food, music, toys, etc. to try to make them comfortable.

A typical day
I live on campus and am surrounded by huge parks and a dog park so I enjoy taking dogs to these areas to explore and run. For the calmer pets I also enjoy petting, training, and just keeping them company. I try to balance out their activities depending on their needs.

Availability
I usually have classes between 12-4 but I usually take long breaks and enjoy stepping away from the computer to go for walks and take care of my dogs at home. Pet sitting motivates me to leave the house and spend quality time with animals while I’m at school for the semester :)
