My name is Peighton and I love animals more than a kid loves candy. I’ve grown up with animals always under my feet, my house has never not had a furry friend in it. Professionally, I’ve had experience with caring for dogs & cats for 2 years. I worked in boarding at legacy animal medical center, a clinic in liberty lake. I’ve had experience with farm animals too, I’ve ridden horses for 10 years and I owned one for about 7 years. I know it can be hard to plan trips, or emergancy getaways around our furry friends, so that’s why I’m here to help! I just moved into a condo with a yard, but it isn’t fenced so I will have an extra stock of leashes! I am also very flexible so just shoot me a message and we will get started on the details! More about me: I’m a new mom of a 5 month old daughter, and I have 2 cats. Monkey and Mr.Boo. Monkey is very friendly and Mr.Boo just leaves everything alone and keeps to himself. Very good boys. I love going outdoors and keeping busy, I’m very organized and dependable and the perfect person to trust with your babies while you’re away.

My mission and goal at the end of the day, is to make sure your little 4 legged family members are safe and fed while you’re away. As a mother I know it can be really stressful to have to find a sitter and I would love nothing more to take that worry and stress off your hands. I will update you with pictures at least one time and more if requested. Caring for animals is a passion of mine and I’m hoping to get enough clients to hopefully, maybe, possibly one day… start my own business! So I appreciate every single one of my clients so much and will do whatever you need so you feel comfortable leaving your little guy with me.

Because of my daughter, if I accept any dogs they MUST be good with kids. Bigger dogs will need to be on the low energy side. High energy at first is okay but if they have lower energy once they’ve calmed down it’ll be alright. As I have said before, I love to take pups on Starbucks trips, so any allergies or sensitivity’s to things would be good to know about. I offer free baths if you stay with me so if you’d like one please just mention it! I have lots of experience administering medications a plethora of different ways, let me know which one your pup prefers and I’ll be sure to use that method. I would love to post at least one photo to my profile during your pet’s stay. Please let me know ahead of time if you would rather me not post any photos.
A typical day
Some fun activities I’ve enjoyed with my dogs has been, walking, hiking, playing ball at the park, swimming, Snuggling, eating treats, butt rubs, head scratches and lots of wet slobbery kisses! I also love to take trips to Starbucks for some puppicinos. In the winter time, we can snuggle up by the warm fireplace and watch dog movies all day!

Availability
I currently work part-time at Starbucks as a barista. My schedule there normally looks like Saturday mornings until about 1-2 and Sunday for a good chunk of the day and Monday nights. When I am not home, because of my 5 month old needing care, my husband is home. So someone will always be home unless I have an errand to run but normally I’m not out for more than 2 hours.
