Am I the girl who goes to a party and ends up in the corner petting the dog? Yes :) I am experienced with big and small doggos alike! I grew up with cocker spaniels but quickly gained exposure to other breeds in my teens and 20s. I am a big supporter of rescue animals and I have always adopted. My first adoption was a 5 yr old beagle-terrier who had been abused. He lived a beautiful life of love and happiness until age 15. My current dog, a black labrador (Truman), was adopted as a puppy and is now 12 years old. My best bud and I drove cross country when I moved to CA from MI in 2021! I have been a reliable caretaker for my friends when they vacation. I have walked and loved on mastiffs, pugs, very sassy corgis, golden retrievers, and poms. I am adaptable to individual pet personalities -- I know some dogs are less friendly to strangers and I'm comfortable respecting their boundaries and building a bond over time. My clients can expect lots of pet photos! I also use Rover as a customer and photos always bring me peace of mind I am a full-time design student at NYIAD. My classes are online and I love that I can create my own learning schedule. I am so excited to break up the monotony by adding some fun outings in my day to day life! I was born an animal lover and I look forward to taking care of your dogs as if they were my own. I am currently not offering in-house or overnight services. I have a senior labrador retriever and I prioritize his comfort, needs, and safety at this stage in his life (he is 12 and has considerably slowed down.)
