I had my first dog when I was 9 years-old. Since then, I've owned and have cared for many dogs and cats over the years. I am the designated person to help do drop-ins or boarding for my families pets when they travel, and I'm here to offer the same service to you! My husband and I reside in a 2-story townhome where we are blessed with a family of furry friends, including 3 cats and a dog! Because we live in a community, there is an open and safe space in the front and in the surrounding neighborhood for walks. Our house is very spacious, allowing a comfortable and fun environment for your pets to stay at when you need to be away. We dedicate spaces in the house to the pets we care for so that they are undisturbed when resting. This also allows your pets privacy should you not want them to interact with other pets in the household. We also only accept 2 clients maximum at a time with separate living spaces for their pets, so your pet will never have to be stressed out over living with other cats or dogs. -----EXPERIENCE------ • 20+ years of experience and time spent with both cats and dogs (I've had a total of 8 cats, 5 kittens, and 7 dogs in my lifetime!) • Provided around-the-clock care (including bottle and tube feeding) for newborn kittens • Experienced with administering medication orally (pills, liquid with syringe, eye drops, and topical) • Designated caretaker and coordinator for my families pets, meaning I am usually tasked with all their pets health records and keeping tabs on their medical care and appointments • I have always trained my own dogs, but have also been working with professional trainers in the last year to work with my parents Old English Sheepdog • Background in Pet Science and Psychology -----DOG BOARDING----- Why should you have to worry about your family member when you're on vacation? As long-term pet owners, we understand the anxiety and worries all too well. Rest assured when you board with us! Here are some essential "must-knows" we will ask before booking: • Is/are your dog(s) or cat(s) on any form of flea/tick control? • Is/are your pet(s) up-to-date with vaccinations? • Are there any behavioral or medical issues I should know about? If so, are there any treatments or tasks I need to do during their stay? (Ex. My dog needs to be on a diaper if he's staying with someone because he'll pee every time someone says hi to him!) • Does your dog/cat get along with other dogs and cats? We have a dog and 3 other cats in the house who all get along with each other, and can allow them to come out for play dates with your pet if he or she gets along with other cats/dogs and are up-to-date with vaccinations. What this service covers: • Drop off any time between 8AM-10PM on drop off day • Pick up by or before 6PM on pick up day • Around-the-clock support and care for your furry family member with nest cameras monitoring them when they are in their own room or space • Scheduled walks 2-3 times a day if needed • Exercise and play • Comfortable central AC/Heating depending on the season (I know, we love to spoil our furry friends) • Pictures during their stay Things to bring/provide: • Enough food to last the number of meals and days that your pet will need during his or her stay - bowls are not necessary, but preferred • Any medication, supplements, or treats that you'd like us to administer during your pets stay • Collar/halter + leash for dogs OR litter for cats (no box needed, we have litter boxes) • Bedding • Any other toys or items that are needed due to behavioral, emotional, or medical reasons and needs • Emergency contact information, both personal and vet -----DAY CARE----- Need someone to watch your pet during the day? No problem! We provide almost the same services as we do for boarding, only the hours and pricing are different. What this service covers: • Drop off as early as 8:00AM (can flex earlier at additional cost; please inquire) • Pick up before or by 6:00PM (can flex later at additional cost; please inquire) • Scheduled walks (1-2 a day, depending on what time your pet is dropped off) • Exercise and play • Comfortable AC/Heating (I know, we love to spoil our furry friends) • Pictures during their stay and updates via Rover Card Things to bring/provide: • Enough food to last 1-2 meals • Any medication, supplements, or treats that you'd like us to administer during your pets stay • Collar/halter + leash for dogs • Bedding (optional for day time rest/naps) • Any other toys or items that are needed due to behavioral, emotional, or medical reasons and needs • Emergency contact information, both personal and vet -----DROP IN VISITS----- Per Rover's requirement, we offer 30-minute drop in visits to your location. Additional time is available for an additional cost through our profile on Rover. During these drop-in visits, we are able to: • Check-in on your pet and make sure that they are doing well • Re-fill food/water • Clean up any pads or accidents they may have had while you were away • Offer cuddles and treats • Administer supplements or medication as needed • Play and spend time with your pet after the above are completed as time allows • Send you a photo of your pet during the drop-in visit for a peace of mind! *Similar to our other services, we will ask to see if your pets are vaccinated and on flea control for our own protection. ---ADDITIONAL SERVICES---- • Extended Stay Discount - We offer cheaper rates for extended stays, drop-ins, and daycares. Please let us know how many days you are looking to use our services and we can offer higher discounts depending on the duration.
