Pet care experience
I've loved animals my entire life, receiving my first golden retriever puppy when I was 6 years old and raised her for her 16 years of life. When I went away to college I started volunteering at Humane Society of Central Illinois walking dogs. I've dog sat for a handful of people ranging from the Bloomington to East Peoria area and now that I'm living in an apartment not allowing pets, I'm looking for ways to spend time with loving pups. I have experience with large and small dogs, as well as dogs who are scared of thunderstorms. I am a freelancer so my schedule is flexible and I have plenty of time for your pups. Fully vaccinated and boosted

I have 2 cats and am so thankful Payton was able to come spend time with them! She went above and beyond, even sending us pictures and updates so we knew they were still doing well while we were gone. Our older cat is shy and Payton didn't have a problem forming that relationship with him right away.
Payton was great! Professional, responsive, and consistent with timing. We never worried about the safety and health of our pets when Payton was taking care of them.
She took great care of my kitties while I was out of town. She even helped them practice their tricks. Highly recommend!

I would love to know if your doggo is scared of thunderstorms and if they prefer to listen to music, watch TV, or have a special jacket that needs to be used during these occasions. As well as any other quirks or preferences they may have.
A typical day
I’m very active so I make plenty of time for daily walks, toy play time and of course, belly rubs. I’m currently in online school and spend a lot of time studying or working on my computer so I’m around unless I pop out for an errand or to grab a bite.

Availability
Currently work full-time hours as a barista while I study UX/UI online. This means I usually work 8hr shifts with full days off on Tuesdays and Thursdays with some availability in the morning or evening on other days. However I am more than happy to do overnights with your pets and walks in my free time as my schedule permits and if your pets are able to be alone for my work hours.
