Ask My Dog How Much I love Dogs
Pet care experience
I grew up in a family who has always been loving pets. Before my parents got busy with family's restaurant, we used to take care of 2 dogs, a chicken, 4 hamsters, and 2 alligator fishes. So, I believe that I have a heart of animals' lover! Two years ago, I also lived with my best friends who had 2 cats where I would help taking care of them when they're away from home. I am a responsible guy who know how to take care of pets in the ways they need to be treated. 5 years ago, we adopted a senior dog, Bobo, from Seattle Humane. He was living happily with us until he was about 15 years of age. He recently just passed away in February of 2021 due to his age and kidney issue according to the vet. One month after Bobo passed away, we have adopted a teenage dog, Louie, from Texas rescue. He is a 2 years old Chiweenie. The rescuer didn't know much about his back story. He has been staying with us for 4 months now and all we can say is we love him very much. He is a very easy going dog who love to hang out with human and give other dogs some space. He has been interacting well with other dogs from small ones all the way to my friend's Pitt/Boxer mixed dog. If you would like to have a meet and greet first, please feel free to let me know. We live in Bellevue area so there are many parks that we can go for meet and greet. Since my job has flexible schedule, it allows me to make time for many other activities. If you would like me to help taking care of your dogs for longer period of time, please feel free to give me a heads up and I can do my best to make time to help taking care of him/her very well while you go on vacations or business trips. The reason why we are doing Rovers because it's so fun to get to meet so many other dogs of different kinds and ages. Each dog has their own personality and their fun in them. We have been doing this for probably 4-5 years now, and have moved from small apartment to now a home with peaceful neighborhood. We are hoping to continue doing Rovers as long as we can!
Reviews
Scott loved his stay! Mac and Louie were accommodating as far as time was concerned and treated Scott with lots of love! Definitely will be returning for their services in the future!
I would highly recommend Mac to pet sit your pup! I just moved to Seattle for work and had to take a work trip within a month. Mac was willing to meet up with me to meet my dog and make sure I felt comfortable prior to leaving. While I was away he sent me frequent updates and photos which really helped me feel at ease. I’m hoping to use him for future bookings!
Mac has been great as a walker and boarding a couple of times. Very consistent. Seems to be great with my dog. Reliable on time as well!
Very accommodating with scheduling. I've used Pawares 2 weekends in a row. He also has pickup/drop off services. Very loving toward my dog. My dog had a good time there hanging out with Pawares and his dog Bobo.

Our house locates in a very safe and dog-friendly neighborhood. There are 2 small grass fields that I can take them too. On our free day, we just take them to the parks in the city. In the house, we just let them stay wherever including our couch and bed (as long as they are not crazy wet). We leave the water 24 hours in the kitchen area.

To be honest, I'm excited to sit variety of dogs. My experience visiting Seattle's Humane many times make me wish we can adopt all those dogs and take care of them all, but I don't have a big house or a lot of money to adopt them all yet. I find this opportunity to be a great way to enjoy something that I can't have yet. Before I sit the dogs, I also would like to know his or her background stories, favorite food, walking habit, behaviors around other dogs and also allergies or health problems. This way, I can help taking care of him/her properly.
A typical day
One of the main reasons why I moved to Bellevue because it's located near a lot of walking friendly places like parks, downtown, beach, hiking trails, etc. Since I have a dog of my own, I always seek for different places for him to explore and enjoy his outdoor time. So far, Here are a few of my favorites: 1. Medina Park (where you can let your dogs unleashed to run around and hang out with other dogs in the big and safe grass field), 2. Bellevue Park (where dogs can meet and greet a lot of other dogs and pets' loving people), 3. Kelsey Creek Farm (for some dogs that like longer walk, I find this is a good place to give them exercise. I used to play Pokemon Go over here a lot). There are also a few other parks in the area where I find suiting for dogs that like private walking time or fetching without interruption. So, to me, it's more of like I will take the dogs to the type of environment they like to be at. The fun stuff like fetching, running or socializing can be done in anywhere of places listed above.

I wake up around 8-9 am, and do the walk to nearby grass fields. I usually feed the dogs after the walk. If you need me to feed them earlier, just let me know. In the afternoon, my fiance and I usually take turn on who are home to take care of them. I am usually back by 5 pm on the weekdays. Weekends, if I don't go anywhere, I usually don't leave home for more than 4 hours.
