Pet care experience
*Currently taking new and repeat clients!* I have a deep love for dogs that makes me care for each one as though it is my own, regardless of if I have a long standing relationship with the dog or I have just met them. I’ve got about eight years of pet sitting experience, in which I have cared for dogs of many breeds and sizes. My work experience includes independent contracting and scheduling through Wag, so I am well versed in the pet care app world. I’m also familiar with caring for senior dogs and puppies who may need more attention. In general, I approach all dog sitting experiences with the desire to provide the best care and to make sure that the dog is having as great a time as they would be with their owner(s). I do not currently have a dog of my own, so I have plenty of attention to give to the wonderful dogs of others! (I do have a hamster named Boko, who is featured in my profile. I love taking care of little critters if you have any.) I’m also a big fan of cats if you have an at home furry friend that would like a little extra attention! Always down to play with even the most rambunctious kitten.

I almost don't want to write this review because I don't want Paulina to be stolen from me ha! Paulina is my go to sitter for my dog, Kona. Kona has never connected with a sitter like she has with Paulina. She knows exactly where she is when we get there and excitedly runs up to Paulina's door. When I pick her up she runs back inside to get a final pet (this has never happened before). I get tons of pictures and I never have to worry when Kona is with Paulina. She is the best!
We are really disappointed with the pet care we received. Stitch looks like he lost some weight and he came home wheezing and coughing. The pet sitter brought it to my attention on the last day when we picked up our dog.
Paulina was great with Piper (and with me as a first time Rover user). She sent pictures and I could tell that Piper really liked her after the few days she spent with Paulina.
Paulina was great! She sent photos of Buck and even took him to the dog park while we were away. Would highly recommend :)

When I'm not with your pets, I am in the pursuit of a doctoral degree in counseling psychology. The work I do there is based in fostering safety and trust within the counseling environment, and I apply that knowledge to my pet care as well. What's most important is that you and your pet feel comfortable, and I am happy to create an environment for that based in you or your pets' needs.

I love to be outdoors, and would very much enjoy hitting some dog friendly hiking trails. I’m also a fan of dog parks and any areas where the dog can be active and have fun (and so can I!).

Availability
I am working from home at the moment, so I am available all day minus the part-time hours in which I am going to treatments for a car accident. I know the importance of caring for yourself and extending that love and care to others, and that's the place from which I do my pet care as well.
