Pet care experience
I had my first dog when I was kid, and then cats for many years. I am in love with animals. Once I adopted a female cat that was about to die of starvation and she was pregnant. She had the babies with us and we took care of all of them for two months and then found them good homes (it was heartbreaking!). Often, when my friends go on vacations I take care of their pets at their houses.

Paula is awesome!! ? this was my first experience with her making multiple drop-in visits with my girl today. She walked my dog and since it was too hot for long walks she made sure to spend time on the couch with doggie rubs and scratches to get time with her. Matzoball and I can't wait for another opportunity to call on Paula again!!
I have used Paula many times for pet sitting over the past 2 years. She has pet sat for me anywhere from one week to two months. What I love so much about Paula is that she keeps in good communication with me regularly about my pet and property while I'm away. I find Paula to be a very friendly and responsible person. I would recommend her as a pet sitter for anyone who is looking for a reliable, responsible, loving pet / house sitter.
For the past few years, Paula has been looking after our cat, Zoila, whenever we travel (2x a year, for usually 2 weeks at a time) - there is no one that I'd rather have looking after her than Paula. She is an incredibly kind and intuitive person, and goes above and beyond to make animals happy and comfortable. I never worry for a second that Zoila is not safe and content while under her care.
Paula took care of my senior cat whenever I traveled and I confess that I always trusted her more than I trust family members. She didn't just feed my senior cat, but spent time with him, noticed his behaviour and was then later able to help me understand the disease he was diagnosed with. Another example to illustrate her love for both cats and dogs is her own behavior as a pet parent. Paula has been raised in a family that always had pets and now she has two dogs and a cat herself. Having spent so much time around cats and dogs she is also fairly knowledgable when it comes to understanding their behavior. To put it simply: Paula is the best dog and cat giver you can imagine!

A typical day
Your dog and I will have tons of fun walking and playing. I will give them time to smell everything during our walks. You can tell me their favorite places to go for walks, but I can also take them to my dogs' favorite parks and the Rillito. If you have a cat, I know how to give them their space if they need to, but also pet them and play with them if they are more social.

Availability
I have a pretty flexible schedule so I can take care of/walk pets most of the week and weekends. I love taking my dogs for walks and play with them, and I can do the same for your pets!
