DogVacay/Rover Host since 2012. Rowdy, our male chocolate lab, is super friendly and loves to have playmates over to visit. Your furry-babies are welcome for daily play-dates, sleepovers, as well as last minute drop-ins. If you have an extra special vacay planned with extended time away, we would love the opportunity to have your pet spend time with us. You may also reach out to me if your are visiting NOLA and can’t find pet-friendly accommodations. We will do our best to accommodate your beloved pets. Our cozy art-deco cottage is located in a pet-friendly neighborhood. We are within 2 blocks of the Mississippi River levee and take several walks per day. Our home offers a doggie-door with access to our large and secured fenced in yard. While here they tend to run around, romp with other doggies and play hide and seek in our back yard oasis filled with lots of greenery. On those doggie-day afternoons you will find us lounging around under our covered patio or sunning out by our large towering oaks. We also have a puppy pool available especially on our humid summer days to cool them off. I am home the majority of the time but will run off for 1-3 hours for daily errands. During your pet’s visit with us, I will keep you updated by sending candid pics of your pups day-to-day activities. Hopefully having this peace of mind will allow you to enjoy your vacay or business travel as well. We truly love sharing our home with our furry paw-some guests, my hope is to provide them the next best thing to being at home. I have no objections to any breed or size but it is vital that they are social and play nice with others. To save the dates, be sure to plan ahead and book in advance. Keep in mind —Holiday weeks fill up very Quickly. PLEASE NOTE: ALL guests must be up to date on vaccinations, flea protection and spayed or neutered if over 1 year old. Please bring vet records at meet-n-greet. Additional rates of $5 will apply for puppies. *** Drop-Offs & Pick-Ups are suggested between 7am- 7:00 pm. Over-night boarding rates are $45 per 24 hour stays. Additional Day/care rates will apply for pick-ups after noon. In those cases where your flight times vary from very early morning departures to late evening arrivals please plan on booking another nights stay. As always, I will remain as flexible as possible.
