Pet care experience
I'm a certified veterinary assistant. I've worked in the veterinary field for over 20 years and I've been pet sitting for over 15 years. I specialize in 2 things: pets that need to be medicated or treated (fluids, etc) and dogs that have prior bite history.

My own pets sleep with me but I can accommodate a kennel if preferred. I live on an orchard but still only walk my dog on leash due to the acreage size and potential issues that can arise. All pets are kept in indoors unless supervised outside. I do have cats that are good with dogs.

I would want to have all pertinent info for your pet before agreeing to pet sit in my own home. Your dog would not need to be cat friendly, but would need to not be cat aggressive or excited.
A typical day
I take my dog and cat out on leashes daily for walks. A couple times a week I also take my dog, Susie, to a park or trail to walk. She loves new scents and other dogs.

I currently work from home and I am completing a degree online while working part time. I'm away from home only for errands and other in home pet sitting or pet care jobs.
