Pet care experience
As an adult, I have personally owned 3 Rottweilers. Throughout my childhood, we had a miniature daschund. I have been working with Rover clients since 2017. I am comfortable working with & caring for all sizes and breeds of dogs. Although I have not personally owned a cat, many of my clients have cats & I am more than happy to take care of cats as well. I love everything about pets - especially playing with them & seeing their happy faces. I have always treated my dogs like members of our family, and I will do so for your family pet as well! I try to find out as much as I can about your pet's preferences so that I can provide your pet with the most comfortable experience possible. I know it can be difficult to be away from their owners. I know many pets like to keep a schedule & I will do my best to provide that.

Paula was wonderful with my puppy. She took the time to ask questions about his habits and preferences, and then was very attentive to his needs while I was away! She’s a great pet sitter/walker, and we will definitely be back!
Prompt communication and cats were well cared for.
Paula showed up on short notice for the meet and greet with Gunther then came in the next day for a half hour drop in visit to let Gunther out while we were at work. She was professional and although Gunther was a little standoffish at first she played with him a sent pics of her visit. Would highly recommend.
We were anxious about having to leave our 8 week old puppy, but Paula was a great help to us and made the process much easier. She met with us before our first booking and got to know our puppy, living space, schedule and preferences. After walks and drop-ins, she sent prompt and thorough updates including lots of pictures. It is clear how much she cares for animals, and we really appreciated the attention and care she showed our dog. We recommend her to others, and hope to have her back!

I welcome owners telling me everything they think I need to know about their family pet (food/treat preferences, favorite toys, areas they enjoy walking, etc.) I do not have a breed preference, although I am quite fond of Rottweilers - (I have owned 3 Rottweilers myself).
A typical day
If you would like your dogs walked, we can pre-arrange nearby paths, parks, or neighborhood streets for these to occur, since you as the owner know your area best. I am able to transport dogs to a walking destination if needed. I love playing fetch with dogs. I like giving dogs challenging toys to keep them busy & also enjoy practicing simple obedience training to keep a dog's mind sharp & active.
