My name is Paula and I worked for over 20 years in a medical setting. I’m now retired from working and looking forward to making my dream come true as a Professional Pet Sitter and Trainer for your beloved pets. I would cherish the time spent with your best friend and give them around-the-clock care in the comfort of their own environment while your away. I have pet sat on the side for many years and have always had my own - at one point, I had eight animals at one time in my care. I have been involved in adoption and rescue in Michigan for over a decade, helping to set up events and transport animals. I would be honored to take care of your pet(s) day and night if your location is not more then 25 miles away from where I live in Mountlake Terrace. I also am more than willing to accept out of range bookings if client will offer to help with travel expense. I’m a single 60 yr. old woman with no children and lots of energy who can and will be fully dedicated and committed to meet the needs and demands of a full time pet sitter and trainer if needed. I have no other job nor hobbies, etc… to occupy my time while pet sitting so, my full attention is devoted to your furry family. I do have one cat and at the time of the meet and greet I will discuss arrangements if I need to break away for a few hours every other day to check in on him. If I’m needed to start earlier then 9AM at the time the booking begins please let me know ahead of time so, I can make preparations to be their for your beloved pet(s). The time stated on the booking request to start will be the time on the last day the booking ends unless other arrangements have been made and discussed before confirmed booking. Other than an emergency situation I am more then willing to extend my stay to care for your furry family if no prior obligations and their might possibly be an additional cost which we can discuss. I will do my best to accommodate each and every furry clients and their owners when and if my availability sustains the request to do so. My house sitting rates reflect a full 24 hour day and night at the client’s home. If you feel my rates are to steep I am more than willing to discuss and come to a more agreeable rate that will work for us all. Paula is truly an angel. She took such great care of our two (quirky and anxious) pups while we were out of town for a few days. She spoiled our girls big time. The girls loved her and trusted her immediately, and she went above and beyond to make them feel right at home. She kept us updated with sweet pictures and videos, and made sure to exercise them regularly with trips to the park! We came home to two happy dogs with wagging tails :) We highly recommend trusting Paula with your furry friends! 11/10
Paula is very good with our dog, left our house cleaner than she found it, and was cool under pressure in an emergency. 10/10.
As always Paula was extremely attentive and caring to my dog and cat. She always leaves the house sparkling clean. She is very reliable which takes away the stress of leaving my pets behind when I travel.
Paula agreed on short notice to watch our dog while we were out of town when our original care plans fell through, and we are so grateful! We really lucked out with her availability. She did a thorough meet & greet with only one day’s notice and asked great questions that made us feel very comfortable having her hang out with our pup for several days. While we were out of town, communication was good, expectations were clear up front, she took our dog on some fun walk adventures and also spent great quality time playing and hanging out at home. Our house was cleaner when we came back than when we left (above and beyond!), and our dog was happy, healthy, and relaxed. Would recommend Paula to anyone looking for a companion for their pets while they are out of town!

I will housesit for your pet(s) overnight while your away in the comfort of their own surroundings which is their home and will care for them as if they are my own. I will provide for them all their daily basic needs and more; with lots of TLC. While your away your home becomes my home and your pets become my pets and I will do my best as a Professional Pet Sitter to make sure your furry family members and your home are safely guarded and cared for to meet up to you and your pets expectations. I do accept both short and extended booking request but, if the request is longer I ask only to be respected of my time and well-being because I am more than willing to go that extra mile and over and beyond if needed and if I’m able and available. It would greatly be appreciated after the booking has ended and if I met up to all your expectations of a Professional Pet Sitter to receive a rave review and if able to help cover my Rover fees which is 20% of my booking earnings. I will also do boarding for two small dogs or 1 large dog not weighing over 75lbs at my apartment if certain dates and times does not allow me to be taken away from my home and responsibilities. A meet and greet is mandatory before I accept any new bookings to discuss details. Or, if recurring clients a phone chat is required to discuss any new updates. Experienced and Skilled in Senior cat and dog care.

A typical day
I will see to it that all your pets daily activities are met depending on age, breed, size and health. Which includes daily sniffari adventure/exercise (most of the time I let the dogs lead me since they seem to know their neighborhood better than me) one-on-one bonding In a positive manner, interactive playtime to enhance mental and physical stimulation, brush up on old tricks and teach new commands , nurturing your pet, daily massages for rest and relaxation and most of all snuggle up time.

I am currently retired from working after many years. I pet sit regularly because it has always been a dream and passion of mine to be a pet sitter/walker and care for pets. Time is valuable and precious and so are your Beloved pets; I am very much a dedicated animal activist and my commitment as a professional pet sitter empowers that willingness inside of me to keep giving of myself to make this world a better safe haven for all God’s Creatures (great & small). I will devote graciously of my time to meet the needs of all my Pet Clients within the comfort of their own surroundings. It is and will be a privilege for me to do so in my golden age to come and oversee the care and safety of your home and family pet(s) while your away. We all know the saying that “there’s no place like home” and how boldly true that is for animals and I’m on call 24 hours a day upon my availability to come and stay with your family member(s) and give them a vacation in their own home style fashion way.
