Pet care experience
Beginning at age 5, my home was a bustling haven for dogs, sometimes one, sometimes two, and often even more, and it’s been that way since. I naturally tend to take on the role of caregiver, whether for my own furry family or those of my friends. Over the years, I’ve nurtured countless puppies from their pee-poo-everywhere days into full-fledged adulthood. I also have a soft spot for looking after elderly dogs. Life is just better with dogs in it. It just is.

Paula is the most amazing petsitter! I have relied on Paula to petsit my dogs for 10+ years, usually multiple times a year for 3-7 days at a time. I have two dogs (previously three, rest in peace to my late chihuahua Mia), and Paula has always given them the most attentive and loving care during my absence. Paula is super organized and detail-oriented, so she never forgets a feeding, potty break, or any of their other needs. She provides warm and comfy areas for them to lounge, sleep, and enjoy themselves, including soft and cozy blankets and luxurious dog beds. My dogs are seniors and in somewhat declining health, and I can always count on Paula to be gentle, tender, and affectionate with them. Paula is compassionate, dedicated, and dependable, and a true animal lover. I will forever trust her to care for my pets!

I have a big, open backyard with a 6’ wooden fence and two dog-friendly pups of my own to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your pup, if needed, as I have a range of crate sizes at my disposal. Kindly note: I will crate all pups if I ever have to leave the house for everyone’s safety.

Let me know if your pup has any special needs or behaviors that I can account for. I prefer breeds that aren’t too high energy, but enjoy playing with other dogs as I have one that loves to romp around with other dogs when appropriate.
A typical day
I have an awesome nerf tennis ball gun that pups love chasing in my big backyard. One of my dogs loves toys, so we have plenty of those lying around and she doesn’t mind sharing at all.

I am actively looking for employment which means I have full availability to care for your pupper and also why my rate is higher than the average. I currently have two medium sized terrier mixes of my own that I care for on the daily from letting them out, playing with them, or feeding them brekkie and din din. Family, friends, and neighbors have relied on me to care for their pets for years whether it be playing with, bathing, or feeding them while they’re away from home. I can watch your pup during the entire week, just weekdays or even just the weekend - whatever your schedule requires.
