Fun Fenced Yard!
Pet care experience
Hello! New to “Rover” but certainly not new to dogs! We are both retired and home all the time and we are available to play and cuddle your pet and make them feel comfortable while you are away. We understand that pups can be very anxious in new settings and also understand how you feel leaving them! We have a 5 year old golden retriever and a large fenced shady lawn ! Solid positive references too! Our homey routine is very predictable and regular to enjoy outdoor playtime and burning up energy, on time feeding and potty breaks are super easy. We live in a relaxed comfortable home and want your pet to feel like family. I don’t require a crate but if you prefer a crate I do have one if you prefer this. I am a retired registered nurse. You can feel at ease leaving your furry friends with me.

We have a large grassy fenced yard as well as an attached garage for rainy day play time. Pets are just like human family and are allowed to hang on the furniture and in our bed.

There are some breed restrictions and in safety precautions and level of comfort with our pup and yours, I cannot consider breeds that are known to have unpredictable, aggressive or dominant behaviors. It’s impossible to simply list excluded breeds but I cannot commit to pups with aggression, guarding behaviors, in house marking and high energy athletic herding/cattle etc. let’s talk and see if your pup is a fit. Generally our pup loves all kinds of doodles, labs, retrievers, newfoundlands, Bernese mountain, Aussies, beagles, King Charles spaniels, etc pups to name a few. Please have current vaccination records as well current flea treatment, which not only protects your pup but also others. Information on your vet in the event of need. Any special routine, feeding schedule, fears. Any items to make them feel comfortable while you are away. Are they good with another dog- my golden is very moderate energy, and playful. Are they afraid of noises? Big trucks? How are they with other dogs? How are they in unfamiliar settings? Pick up time boarding and daycare is 6pm. After hour pickup boarding counts as an extra night charge. After 6pm daycare is $10 hour. Based on original care agreements.
A typical day
Up early for potty and a chance to smell the new day. Lawn is a nice grassy area with shade to run, play fetch, and smell.

We are retired so our pup is our main focus and the center of our daily routine. We have a very laid back home and have lots of time to focus on the care and comfort of your pet. Paula is a retired RN and has a deep sense of care and love towards furry pets and their humans. We want you to have peace of mind knowing that you pet is receiving excellent care and attention.
