Hi! My name is Paula and I'm here to keep your pets happy and healthy, while enjoying the weather outdoors! Outside of taking care of humans for a living, I've volunteered at PAWS Chicago for a number of years and spent the last five years walking for Wag. Lover of all dogs and cats, the meatier the better.

When I walk dogs, I always triple check the harness before opening the door. When we get back to the house, water gets refilled, they get a treat or mini snack, and I ensure there are no items on the ground they can eat before locking up. For those who are shy and nervous, I pay particular attention to my mannerisms. I let the pet come up to me and build trust before going outdoors.

Please let me know anything you would find important. Is your dog afraid of bicycles? Do they try to run and attack squirrels? Do they pull on their leash? Do they need a full meal or a treat after their walk?
A typical day
Fun Fact--I've been known around the Wag Platform as the walker who gets dogs to LOVE walking around new routes. So much so that the dogs memorize the route and take THEIR owner down it. But if that's not what your dog wants, I will respect their wishes and go where they feel safe :) I love walking through parks and by the river.

I'm currently working full-time (rotating schedule) and am off one day during the work week. I own a lovely one year old kitten that's a sweetheart and loves cuddles.
