If you're looking for a pet sitter with a lot of animal experience and who will treat your pet like their own, then you've found your match! We're not your average animal-loving pet sitters. Sheila has worked over 10 years in animal welfare and has been trained in various areas such as cat and kitten care, dog care, behavior and training, disaster response, and more. Paul also spent time in animal shelters by volunteering during college. Additionally, we've opened our home to animals in need by fostering cats and dogs throughout the years. With all of that experience along with our own animals, we have been taking care of pets for 20 years. We’ve had cats and dogs throughout our life, currently including our senior golden retriever Kiko, and have always been the relied upon people to pet sit for friends and family. We've had old dogs with special needs (medical diet, supplements, and medication) so we are very in-tune with caring for animals who have medical requirements.

Our shy pup is in good hands with Sheila & Paul. He feels very comfortable with them and I feel relaxed leaving him in their care, knowing he’s getting all the love and attention he could possibly need. Couldn’t be happier with our experience!
They were so great! So kind and responsive - they had a great backyard for our dog to run around in and sent lots of great photos/videos while we were away. Gave us total peace of mind. Can’t say enough awesome things about them. Theo’s already excited for his next stay :)
Paul and Shiela always take such great care of our senior dog and are great communicators and photographers. Will always reach out to them for upcoming dogsitting opportunities.

Making you and your pet comfortable is our number one goal. As pet owners, we know how stressful it is to leave your pet(s) behind when traveling so we want you to know that they’ll be in great hands while you’re away. Your pet will receive a private experience as we only pet sit one household at a time. If your dog is staying with us for day care or boarding, we have a very secure fenced in yard and your dog will always be monitored when outside. They will be inside with us and our dog the rest of the time and will be treated as one of the family. Your pet will have full access to the furniture, if you currently allow that in your home. If your dog enjoys playing with others, they’ll have a built-in companion as our golden retriever, Kiko, loves all dogs. If your dog isn't the playful type, don't worry, Kiko is very respectful and will give them their space. We plan on snapping lots of photos and videos of your pet living his/her best life with us and keeping you in the loop even if it’s just nap time.

Here's what we'd love to know about your pet to ensure we can provide the best experience possible: - Feeding routine including number of meals a day, special diet requirements, and/or allergies. Please provide enough food to last for their full stay. - Are they on any medication or supplements? If so, please provide those. - Any unique behaviors we should be aware of? - Do they get along with other dogs? Since we have a dog, we can only accept dogs who are at least tolerant of other dogs. Totally ok if they aren't playful with other dogs, as long as they can coexist and will be comfortable. - What is their daily routine? We want to copy it as best as possible to ensure your dog is happy.
A typical day
It all depends on the dog. We’re happy to have walks and plenty of play time. For lower energy dogs, cuddles and lounging it is!

Availability
Our schedules are flexible since we work from home and can host your dog(s) for day care or boarding. Since we have a dog of our own, it's easy to incorporate your pet into our daily routine. We will tailor our approach to meet your pets needs. Does your dog like to chill on the couch or do they want to run around our fenced in yard and play? We understand it’s important to replicate their normal routine as that makes them feel stress free!
