Semi retired couple love dogs and country walks
Pet care experience
We’ve kept several pet dogs over the years. We had our last dog (a black Labrador) from a puppy but sadly he passed away in January 2021 at the grand age of 13. It broke our hearts so we haven’t replaced him but we have been walking and looking after dogs for friends in the area on an ad-hoc basis ever since. We would enjoy continuing to do so to include overnight stays at our house.

We live in a detached house on a new modern housing estate on the edge of the small town of Wem. We have a large rear garden which is fully fenced with 6 foot panels and gates so it is suitable for a dog to run free and do toilet when needed. We are a short stroll from country fields and footpaths to enjoy long walks for exercise. There are no children at home anymore and no other pets.

We both are both semi-retired and now work part time on varying days each week. We are available to be at home every weekend, every evening and on alternating days each week.
