Pet care experience

Hello all. Myself and my wife love dogs and would love to have yours come play with ours any time you need an extra hand. My wife and i work from home, have 2 huskys and have had Rover clients for years. We have a great fenced in back yard with a 6-foot fence and live close to fenced in dog parks and trails. We both have had dogs our whole lives and are well versed and aware of behavioral traits of different breeds and the changing needs between small or large dogs.

We recently traveled from AZ to NC and made arrangements for our dog to stay with Paul for the day while we spent time with our elderly grandparents. Our pick up experience was a challenge and I caution anyone wanting Paul's services in the evening hours to be aware that he works nights on what appears to be an on call basis and despite us telling him to contact us if he gets called in so we can pick up our dog as we were close by he did not. We had no idea he left our dog alone in his home until we went to pick her up and Paul was not home. We waited for 2 hours before getting our dog from him. And it was only after contacting authorities and Rover emergency customer service that Paul had returned our messages. So if you need sitting services please keep this in mind when booking him for your sitter. As for our dog she appeared to have a good time and be well cared for. Paul's dog and our dog seemed to be good together when I dropped her off. I just don't want anyone else to have the pick up experience we had.

Information Paul R. would like to know about your pet

I love all animals, yes even snakes and spiders. I think sometimes it’s us that deserve them. It’s helpful to know if your animals have any allergies or you have any concerns like food aggression or being a flight risk or timid.

I work from home and have plenty of free time to take and would love to help. Pets are a passion and I understand the struggle of leaving them at home especially if there were a “COVID puppy”.
