I met Paul in the neighborhood and we were able to connect on our mutual love for dogs. I have an unusual breed of dog, a Borzoi, and he has an unusual mixed breed that I have observed him train from adoption as a puppy. That is the first impressive thing I noticed about Paul (when it comes to the dogs) - his own pet was very young, and strong, and willful and I am amazed at how much Captain has ‘grown up’ with Paul. He is a dedicated and loving owner. Secondly, no matter the weather - I always see Paul out, walking Captain, and other dogs in the neighborhood (whose owners have been fortunate to entrust them to him). That really impressed me. I know for myself I don’t always have that dedication as an owner… with Paul, everything is exceptional. Lastly, Paul has such a calming presence. I’m sure anyone can relate - it’s always a big leap of faith to entrust your ‘fur child’ to allow someone new. My dog I feel is very complex in his emotional nature, very timid and does not open up to just anyone. With Paul, I have seen Buddy (my dog) open up to someone outside of my home, in a way that makes me so happy as his ‘parent’. I not only appreciate Paul’s incredibly loving spirit around my dog (who does not easily trust) but I can trust him with access to my home and have zero anxiety that everything is in good hands. I would adamantly recommend Paul to any good dog owner. Not only will you appreciate the feeling of having your dog’s needs fully met when you are unable to be there for them, but you will gain a very important friend of the family.
