Pet care experience
As a father as well as a fur dad, I understand the importance of patience, empathy and providing guidance for our little ones. With my journey starting as a police officer, my morals and ethics have led me to this amazing path. It led me to seek companionship and there is no better companion than a fur baby. I was then introduced to being a K9 handler. I was able to indulge in structured play while engaging the mind of my K9. I intend to use every experience I can to engage, bond and play as much as possible. No matter the size of our babies, every interaction can be an educational one. I believe in reinforcing the basics with massive play and praise. The more experiences I have, the better of an experience I can provide for others.

Paul has been a part of my Grand-dog’s life for some time now and I have never seen our Maui happier. Maui is a One year old Siberian Husky and he requires a lot of exercise and attention. Paul spends a lot of time with Maui. He genuinely loves animals and the animal feels it. On Paul’s down time, he often spends it taking Maui on long walks and for some fun in the dog park where Maui has friends. I myself have cats and he is great with them too.

I try to interact with animals as much as they will allow. I love lap cats but not all are as welcoming to that and I respect that. Dogs on the other hand, I tend to be more hands on. I feel that every interaction can be an opportunity to reinforce desired behaviors. I like to play and push dogs to develop in fun and enticing ways. My husky just learned to jump off of a bench to grab a stick. Husky's are notoriously hard to train and with consistency I was able to build his confidence to perform a new task.

Any previous training, aggression toward people or other animals and any medical conditions they may have. These are the bare minimum but I like to ask for as much as they can give me so I know where to begin
A typical day
I like to take dogs to the park to go for long walks/runs. If there are small private parks I can easily do some training on recall and many other skills. I like to use play and praise as reinforcement for desired behaviors.

Availability
I have fur babies of my own. A husky, a baby golden doodle and a cat. I am working very hard to train my dogs to behave well and house break our golden doodle. This leads me to long walks and heeling training throughout our walk. Treats, praise and play all help to reinforce using the bathroom outside to mitigate accidents inside.
