Large or Small Pet Professional

Pet care experience

I am a recently retired thoroughbred race horse trainer who has cared for animals of many kinds my entire life. Obviously horses, plus our German Shepherds and special needs house cats are just a few. My love of animals does not stop there as I drive 20 minutes EVERYDAY to Delaware Park Race Track to feed and care for a feral cat colony of about 20. I have been feeding these cats for over ten years, during snowstorms and single digit temperatures and it gives me the most rewarding feeling helping the animals. I even feed the odd skunk or fox if they are in need!

Paul was excellent. He sent me pictures of Butcher throughout my time away, as well as giving me updates. It was so nice knowing that my dog had someone with him that could administer his two a day insulin injections.

Paul was excellent. He was able to give our elderly cat both insulin and a pill orally which is almost impossible with our cat. He is truly amazing what he can do with problem pets.

Safety, trust & environment

Having our own pets I understand the need for someone to come care for our pets when we can not be home, whether it is for a mid day walk or medication or a week long vacation. I know how important it is to find the right person that you can trust with both your pet and your home.

Information Paul M. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know about your pet’s temperament. How the react to other people or animals that they may come in contact with. It is also very helpful to know what your pet’s daily routine consists of. With this knowledge we can create the very best atmosphere for them.

A typical day

My typical day is based on the pets I am with. For a pet I am just stopping by once or twice a day it is usually a walk outside, perhaps a meal or medication and just some solid play or quiet companionship. It all depends on your individual pet. If it is a overnight stay I am usually up by 4:30 or 5:00 so your pet will have a very full day. If there are parks or specific areas that your pet enjoys we will definitely find our way there.
