I've always wanted a dog, never could afford one or had the space to keep a dog. I would always go to my cousin's or friends house and give their pets more attention. My uncle, knowing I had a love for dogs put me in charge of watching them since they traveled frequently. My whole week would consist of walking the dogs, feeding them, and playing with them. My uncle lived in the Palisades which is known for its huge population of dog owners. They'll see me on the street walking several dogs and ask me if I would like to watch their dogs. I happily agreed to. For three years starting from 8th to the 10th grade I was watching dogs in the Palisades as a small business. I was receiving so much volume that I started creating daily logs for feeding, animal behavior, and other noteworthy behaviors such as dogs not eating. My services depending on clients need would include staying over nights, daily visits and bathing and grooming if needed. I loved what I was doing and the people I were meeting. However, in the 11th grade I stopped once I started playing sports. Now that I'm done with playing college sports I want to get back to what I love.
