Pet care experience
Dogs are my passion! I started working with them as a walker prior to obtaining a position as an open-play supervisor at a busy kennel. I quickly became general manager of that same kennel. After a long-distance move, I obtained another position as a playroom supervisor and also became an obedience trainer. Additonally, I have work experience as a dog "hiker" in which I took small groups for extended forest hikes. I am able to provide pick up and drop off distance permitting. My services include: obedience and socialization training, daycare, boarding, hiking, and leash walks and/or playtime visits to your home. I am always open to arranging a meet and greet for prospective clients! I love dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities and look forward to getting to know your best friend soon!

My dog Milo adores Paul. It is extremely reassuring to see how excited Milo gets to see Paul pull into the driveway to take him for the day. Paul responds very quickly to messages/requests, is very accommodating, and provides me with updates and pictures/videos of the day they had on walks and hiking. I have utilized him numerous days when I need assistance with Milo, and it is nice to have someone so trustworthy to watch after my pup.
Paul is a wonderful addition to my dog’s routine! I was scrambling to figure out what to do on my 12 hour days with my newly adopted rescue female pit mix when classes started this Fall. After reviewing a few profiles, Paul’s really stuck out as someone with both passion and genuine knowledge about dogs/dog behavior. I asked him to come meet my dog before we officially booked to ensure that she reacted well to him. Within the first few minutes, my dog was on her back requesting belly rubs. Needless to say, they hit it off! I feel very comfortable with Paul and SO pleased with how happy my dog looks in the pictures I get from their weekly walks. Even when she refuses to go outside in the rain, he spends time hanging out with her so she still gets some attention. I couldn’t be more appreciative and I’m sure my dog would 100% agree!
Paul took excellent care of my dog Pierre while I was away for 4 days. Pierre became a member of the family, eating, sleeping, hiking, playing and just hanging out. I was very reassured to see how excited & happy Pierre became when Paul arrived to pick him up. Pierre was a shelter dog, and has struggled with anxiety, so this was momentous! I will certainly use Paul again through Rover for any other services I need!
Paul came to my home & picked up my dog Pierre for a 6 hr. visit/dog park walk/socialization with Paul's family where he will be staying for 4 consecutive days in September. I felt very comfortable with Paul, & spent some time discussing Pierre, who is just learning to be less anxious when he is not with me. He also sent me a video of Pierre & his dog Althea together on their walk in woods near a little stream, which was very reassuring & sweet. I definitely feel much less anxious about leaving Pierre with Paul & his family when I go away.

A typical day
Dogs in my care take trips each and every day to nearby parks for 60-90 minute hikes and I update you with photos. Safety always comes first and I have an impeccable record because I am constantly communicating with the pack and maximizing our time together! These are invaluable experiences for your dogs to learn and socialize. The rest of the day is spent playing in the backyard, lounging inside and cuddling up, and of course, treats!
