I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies who still live with my parents at the ripe old age of 14 (still pups to me though). I helped to care for a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I also looked after dogs in my old neighborhood, walking and running in the park, and even learning patience from various adorable, but menacing, puppies. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company.
