I used Paul's services as a house-sitter and dog-sitter for the first time last week. I was gone for 4 nights and 5 days. I have never used Rover.com or anyone unknown to me as a house-sitter before this. I am going to be completely straight, this young man, whom teaches at a local high school during the day, turned out to be the best, most trust-worthy, thoughtful, kind, and thorough care-taker for my dog and home I've ever had. He followed my special care instructions for my bulldog exactly, left my house in perfect order, brought in my mail and trash cans without my remembering to ask, and most impressive of all - made sure I was kept updated with both morning and evening texts and photos of my dog! I never had to remind him to do anything. Without my prompting, he even sent me a short video of himself playing tug-o-war with my bulldog to ease my mind that my saucy little pup was getting the kind of fun rough-housing he loves ! I was a nervous wreck leaving my beloved pup, and suffered from separation anxiety the first couple of nights, but Paul G. was extremely understanding and put my stress to rest with his ease of communication and photos so by the second night, my anxiety had completely disappeared. By the last day, Paul G. checked in with me to make sure I would be arriving home on time, and even AFTER I arrived home and his job with me was done, he contacted me once more to ensure I was safely home and all was well ! Paul G. really went above and beyond what any other care-giver I've ever experienced has. I had never met, nor heard of him before this job, and had the natural inclination to be nervous about letting an unknown man stay alone in my home with my most precious possessions. However, Paul G. is a fit, active, extremely well-educated, very honest, Christian-principled young adult male that could handle any situation with my home and pet and give my property a sense of security with his presence. My dog absolutely loved him and I will never again use the boarding kennels when I must travel out of town as long as Paul G. has availability to watch over and care for my beloved home and dog. Paul G. is easily a 5 star care-taker and I have never recommended anyone as highly as I am recommending him.

Reliable,trustworthy,kind,and caring are among the top words I would use to describe Paul as our pet sitter. He faithfully and with a genuine love for our dog Oreo would walk,feed, and care for her in her old age of 17 years. We highly reccommend Paul as your petsitter!
