Growing up the son of a vet, I've had my fair share of experience when it comes to animal care. I worked as kennel help at my mom's practice for two years where I was introduced to general animal care and well being, including critical care patients. Through this experience, I also practiced animal upkeep including exercise, diet, and social behavior. I have worked with animals of all ages and species from puppies and kittens to seniors. Besides small animals, I am also well versed in livestock and large animal care. I've approximately 10 years experience in my local 4-H chapter, where I raised show goats and competitively rode horses. Over the course of the ten years, I learned many applicable skills including administering medication and creating diet plans. Additionally, I mastered diligent daily care which encompassed exercising, feeding, and training. Apart from professional animal care, I've owned and loved dogs (and cats) my entire life. However, now that I'm in college and living on campus I've been temporarily separated from the animals I love so much. My hope is to fill this gap with the help of the Rover service and your furry companion!
