Pet care experience
There is a reason "dog" is "god" spelled backward! ***PLEASE CONFIRM YOU HAVE READ MY PROFILE BEFORE MESSAGING! Thank you! :)*** I melt around any dog I meet and have owned various dogs for 20 years. When driving through the neighborhood, I can't help but yell "Puppy!" when I see someone walking their dog on the sidewalk. I owned a dog for 12 years and he had passed right before Covid shut down. Since then, I've fostered over 30 different dogs of various breeds, sizes and temperaments. I have also been professionally training dogs for two years. My training methods use positive reinforcement with a touch of love. At home, I have a variety of treats and toys, elevated bowls for the larger doggos, puzzle feeder for "vacuum dogs," 48" kennel, blankets, a ramp for climbing into the car (for senior dogs or dogs with weak joints), and agility equipment (for dogs with strong joints). With these experiences, I feel I am more than qualified to serve you and your dog in giving it the care it needs. ****I work OUTSIDE the home full time**** Hiring me is like hiring your dog's next best friend. Take comfort in knowing all of your dog's needs will be met. Your dog will enjoy food, walks, and endless snuggles as we bond. Meanwhile, you will be free to go to work, vacations, or a night on the town, without worrying whether Fido needs a potty break. Hope to hear from you soon!
Reviews
I felt completely comfortable with Paul taking care of Bella as he was her “teacher” at Petco for Puppy lessons. He provided daily updates and pictures of Bella’s experience. I’d highly recommend Paul to anyone who is in need of top notch boarding for your puppy.
Paul was a wonderful caretaker for our dog Mia. He was very communicative, sending us daily updates and photos. Paul is very empathetic and we could tell how much he enjoyed spending time with Mia. We would highly recommend Paul as a dog sitter!
Even at drop off, Zuma seemed very comfortable with Paul. Paul was great about asking questions about Zuma's likes. He communicated what activities they did and how Zuma waa. When we picked Zuma up, he was very happy. Recommend Paul and will book again.
Second time with Paul. Great communication and my pet was very well cared for. Highly recommend!

Safety, trust & environment
When picking up your dog for a walk, I take the time to allow the dog to get to know me. Trust is highly important to a dog to ensure the new person is no threat to the home or the pack. This is particularly true for territorial dogs. I will often bring treats to gain its trust, moving slowly and speaking softly. When dog-sitting, I create a welcoming environment, with many toys and blankets to snuggle on. I have potty pads, treats, a fireplace, everything a doggo needs to be comfortable. I have also used music to help soothe a dog.

I'd like to learn the dog's temprament, behavior around other dogs, new people, and anything that may be a challenge for someone meeting your dog the first time.

Your dog and I will play fetch and walk the trails. We will burn off lots of energy so your pup will be well relaxed when you come home.
