I'll admit it, I'm crazy for all things canine. In addition to having had dog companions in my life for nearly 30 years, I've greatly expanded my love and understanding of dogs during my 4 years as volunteer at the San Diego Humane Society. My volunteer roles are all dog focused and include Canine Companion Provide shelter dogs with love, attention, and a chance to get out of the kennel to play, walk, or just cuddle. Canine Foster Provide a foster home for shelter animal and the opportunity to give stressed dogs a comfortable, inviting and supportive environment. Adoption Ambassador Trained to enable adoptions of our foster dogs at public events including assessment of potential adopters, discussion of pet medical history, free health checks, and licensing requirements
