Pet care experience
I have had the opportunity to not only share my life with my own dogs but to foster dogs for 7+ years for a local rescue. I have had many different bred, ages and circumstance in which the dogs (and other animals) have come to my home on their way to their forever homes. I will play and do short training activities to help keep your dog mentally and physical stimulated while they are here. I have a little poodle that is bossy but settles down once he realizes your dog will not hurt him. I am home all day with a fenced in yard for the dogs to have free time to play and get outdoors. All my children are grown and gone so I have lots of time and love to share.

I was very apprehensive about boarding Dublin as he had never stayed with anyone else. However, our experience couldn’t have been any better. I will definitely use Patty again if the need ever arises.
Patty did great with our Ellie. She kept us updated daily on how she was doing and sent pictures. I appreciated her concern for Ellie and how she was interacting.

I would like dogs to be good with cats (I have 2) and other dogs. No alpha dogs! Bred is not as important as personality. To be kennel and potty trained is very helpful in everyone happiness. Need to know if dog has any medicine that needs to be given and any special diet needs.
A typical day
We have a small park close by my house that has a track around it that can be used for walks. Basic dog training activities like sit, stay, come, wait and fetch will help with boredom. The dogs can also play outside and then come in for some cuddle time.
