Pet care experience
I owned a dog/cat boarding kennel for 17 years and worked as a Veterinary Technician prior to that. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I have taken care of very very old dogs giving them the special care they need and deserve, as well as feisty puppies. I can give oral, ear and eye medications and insulin or allergy injections. I have experience with deaf and blind dogs and have been owned by both. I have worked and played with my dogs in agility, flyball, obedience and trick training as well as nosework. I always keep safety in mind when walking and caring for my clients fur-kids Mostly I just enjoy working and playing with my dogs and my clients pets too! I work from home taking care of people's pets for them when they have to be away from them, while at work or on vacation. I have a fenced in yard and supervise your dog while they are outside. DOGS ARE CRATED FOR SLEEPING, EATING, OR FOR BRIEF PERIODS if I need to run a quick errand. DOGS MUST BE COMFORTABLE and CONTENT IN A CRATE. This is for your dog’s safety.
Reviews
My pup visited Patty for a trial run stay and seemed to be happy and comfortable. Patty was kind enough to send pictures of Winnie hanging out in her home and the blur of her tail in the picture proved she was enjoying herself! Patty was very quick to respond in our communications and made me feel good about leaving my girl with her!
Patty is great!! We had a "meet & greet" before Bennie stayed with her, and he was very eager to go back when it was time to stay. He stayed for 6 nights, was well taken care of and got lots of love. Patty is a pro when it comes to dogs and we felt very confident with her care. We received lots of photos, updates and had great communication while we were gone. Thanks, Patty!
We are very thankful for the wonderful care that Patty provided Creed. We had never left him before and were a bit concerned about how he would respond. Immediately it was clear that he and Patty would get along great! We felt very comfortable entrusting him to her care. The frequent updates with pictures confirmed that he was happy and well-adjusted in her home. We hope to use her again on our next trip to Michigan!
Patty is an amazing person and took such great care of our 9 1/2 year old Weimaraner when we needed to go out of town on short notice. She has so much experience and great skills with animals. Our Carlos took to her right away at our meet and greet, and had no problems when we left him in Patty's care. We will definitely have Patty take care of our fur baby the next time we need to go away.

Your pets comfort and safety are my priority. I use baby gates to block off doorways to prevent your pet from accidentally escaping. I go out into the fenced yard with your dog to play and supervise exercise. Crates are utilized for mealtimes, sleeping or if your dog can’t be supervised, like when I have to run an errand

Information Patty C. would like to know about your pet
Is your dog comfortable in a crate? Dogs are crated to eat, sleep and for brief periods as needed. Does your dog have separation anxiety, if so what does he/she do if left alone? Any special needs? Afraid of thunderstorms or fireworks?
A typical day
I live in a nice neighborhood that is wonderful for walking dogs. I also have a fenced in yard to play with your dog(s). I let them out frequently throughout the day.
