I am a cat owner, as an adult. I rescued many cats in the past. I had a litter of 8 living with me for a few months. I will rescue any pets that are being threatened of euthanization. But I have always loved dogs and I grew up always having a dog. From a german shephard to a cocker spaniel. I haven't owned one as an adult, because I feel like I wouldn't have the time and money to give them the full care they need. This would be my way of getting to spend time caring for dogs, without having the full responsibility of owning them. I have a big heart and love for all pets. They need comfort when their owners are away.

I have especially loved taking care of my sister's dogs, Lilly (Golden Retriever) and Lucy (Chihuahua). The only problem was my cat. She hated them and it was too big of a risk to have them in the same area together. So I had to leave my cat in a room of her own for the day and night. It was okay for a night, but I don't think I could watch a large dog and/or multiple dogs for more than one night at a time. My cat may start to resent me. :)
