Furthermore, your pup can find comfort in a routine, predictable daily schedule that includes active play, lots of walks, and tons of cuddles! It is my goal to make each visit a success and welcome you and your pup back to my home with open arms. Most of all, have peace of mind while your fur baby enjoys his/her own vacation here! I am home full time as a dog sitter. This is a labor of love! This is my full time job! The dogs are not only my priority, but also little furry family members during their stay and very much get to soak in all the attention all day long with no worries about "other job" distractions or considering your pet a means for a secondary income. My home is an extension of your home! Let me know what works for you and I will apply the same principles! I also can supply crates of all sizes if needed as well as toys & food bowls. My backyard will soon be fully fenced in, an exciting upgrade for our outdoor play! I provide love & safety so your dog can thrive in an environment that supports security & confidence. We came in to town with our dog having never gone on a plane and never been in daycare. Patty made us comfortable from our first contact with her and provided a wonderful day for our dog. We never worried and got frequent updates and pictures of how great things were going.
This great pet sitter took such amazing care of my little cockapoo. Coco has never really been socialized with other dogs before, but she had the time of her life there. Patty sent me pictures and notes every single day, which made me feel so secure knowing my girl was being well cared for and truly loved. I would absolutely recommend Patty to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter. We will definitely be using her again!

My dog had a great time with Patty! She was so communicative throughout my dog’s stay. I always get anxious leaving my pup when I go on vacation but Patty made me feel so comfortable. I received many photos and updates while I was away and my dog came home happy and healthy. I can’t recommend Patty enough and my pup will be back.
Patty is THE best! I could see Benny’s playful, relaxed personality in all the pictures she sent and knew I made the perfect match.
Patty is absolutely fantastic!! She’s watched my pups multiple times and my girl Tilly just stayed with her for 1.5 weeks while I was out of town. She even kept her an extra night at the last minute when something came up. Patty sent twice daily updates and tons of photos that I always looked forward to receiving! Patty is knowledgeable, experienced, and I never worry when my pups are with her. I cannot recommend Patty enough!

Schedule
Your dog is my priority. I am a FULL TIME DOG SITTER! Therefore, your pet is not my “secondary job” but a true family member who will benefit from round the clock human companionship :)

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is number one. With YEARS of dog sitting experience and understanding that dogs indeed have unique personalities & needs, I thoughtfully & carefully take the time needed to introduce dogs to “my pack”. Have a dog that does not do well meeting others? Have no fear! Both of my dogs have this type of personality. No dog should ever be disqualified for exhibiting less than pleasant behavior upon meeting another strange dog. Let’s keep in mind dogs are affected by standard breed behavior, leash aggression, past experiences, resource guarding (including guarding you!), and a host of environmental factors plus excitement that can generally lead to a poor start when forcing a meet and greet. This should never define a dog’s capability to play well with others. Being comfortable and secure and meeting calmly is my goal. Dogs will naturally come together and build bonds when they are ready, not forced. If you have a happy go lucky furry pal, I absolutely welcome you! If you have a dog that does poorly on initial meet and greets, I welcome you too! There is also no access to doors leading outside. Dogs are always leashed when outside. In the near future, when playing in the fenced in yard, they will be air tagged. I place careful consideration in toys as well as treats & food distribution to avoid resource guarding and possible fighting.

A typical day
Dogs can find comfort in a consistent schedule every day. A predictable schedule is so important for your pup to feel at ease during his/her stay and is the secret to every successful stay. I provide active play periods followed by relaxing activities such as gnawing on teether bones. Dogs then have an opportunity to unwind for a snooze on the couch. Dogs go for walks about every 3/4 hours throughout the day.
