I've owned dogs ranging from 8 pounds (a chihuahua) to 55 pounds (a retriever/shepherd mix we adopted). I've also house/dog sat for families with dogs upward of 100 pounds. I love dogs of all sizes, and consider them four-legged friends. I enjoy walking, but I also love playing or relaxing around the house, depending on the personality and needs of the dog (and family!) Because of my own dog's quirks, I understand that each dog needs something unique - our pound puppy, though having lived with us for most of his life is still wary around strangers and skittish with men. My chihuahua had food and environment allergies that meant frequent baths and food restrictions. I enjoy getting to know what makes a dog an "individual," and loving him or her in that!
