Pet care experience
Caring for and loving dogs has always been a part of me. I've had dogs in my life for the past 25 years. I know the importance of finding someone who is calm, responsible and trustworthy...I promise you....I am that person. I remember being so nervous when I had to leave my dogs with someone or somewhere...it was like my heart was breaking. I decided to sign up as a caregiver on Rover.com because I can offer you 100% peace of mind. I live in downtown Palatine and there are so many places to walk and I would love to drop in and visit your little one while you're working, shopping, or if you need overnights, extended stays for vacations, work, etc....I am available for those also. I have fantastic references...and have met wonderful people who have trusted me with their pets and their homes.

Patti was awesome! Our dog Ellie loves her! Lots of pics and updates of our pet from Patti while in her care, which made us feel comfortable being away from our sweet dog.
Patti was absolutely fantastic! Buzz loved staying at her place and came back very happy :). She was very prompt in sending pics and is very caring :). I would definitely recommend her anytime!

Another great time for Mackie and Alaina! They love staying with Patti and Mackie barked in excitement when we pulled in her driveway. Patti is so good with dogs and understands them so well. My girls love staying with her and I feel so comfortable, knowing they're safe and happy. ?❤️

I would like to know their eating schedule, preferred toys, and any sensitivities they may have. (they don't like to be pet on their tummy, they don't like when people say hi to them on the street, they're afraid of vehicles, etc. Anything that they might feel uncomfortable with, essentially.
A typical day
I like to walk in our neighborhood. I live very close to Reimer Reservoir and just love being outside. I love to play catch, fetch and just enjoy what the dogs enjoy...it makes for a great visit. If they love to lay on the couch and that's their thing...then that's what I'll do. If they want to play frisbee, I'm up for that as well. A trip to Starbucks for a Puppicino is always fun too. Deer Grove is wonderful to walk around also.
