Pet care experience
I recently retired and I am looking for a way to spend my time doing something I love, which will also benefit others. I have been around animals for my entire life and I know how important they are to a family. I currently have a cat who is leash-trained and he is always excited to go on his walks every day. Even when I was tired after a long day at work, I never let him down and made sure to take him for his walk. I would like to provide the same level of exercise and enjoyment to pets whose owners are unable to do so due to work or other commitments. I have previously taken care of my sister's dogs while she was out of town and loved taking them on walks, to the beach and dog park. I have also volunteered at a cat shelter where I helped to socialize cats for adoption. Through this experience, I have seen firsthand the positive impact of spending time with animals, calming them down, and building trust.

My cat is leash trained, so I take him out everyday. We have a small front yard, so on days when it’s raining, he can still go out and enjoy the yard. I even have a certain outdoor toy he likes to play with. It stays outside all the time, so he knows it’s there whenever he wants to bat it around.

If your pets have any special needs or requirements, please provide me with explicit instructions on how to handle them. If your pet requires medication, I would want to know the preferred method of administration, such as inside a treat, in a greenie pocket, mixed with their food/water, in a piece of cheese, or administered using a pill shooter.
A typical day
While taking your pet out for walks, it is important to allow them to explore and sniff around to their heart's content. Bringing along their favorite toys will help keep them entertained and exercised along the way. Afterward, I can spend some time relaxing on the grass and bonding with your pet.These are the same activities I enjoy doing with my cat when we go out for walks.
