My favorite thing to do is to tell a dog that they are a good dog after a long walk and give them all the belly rubs they desire. I also love taking dogs to the dog park to have them burn off energy and meet friends. I also have no problem taking care of cats; from the ones that just stare at you from their hiding spots when a stranger comes in to those that come up and greet strangers, I love talking to them and giving them the attention THEY want (because we all know the cat decides the type of attention they want). I have been taking care of dogs, from combination of my own and my siblings, since I was about 7 years old. I have given love and attention to all types of dogs from little papillons to puggles to labs to malamutes nearly my entire life. As for cats, I have been the subject of my own queen cat for about four years now and have been volunteering with a local rescue and fostering for the past 18 months.
