We are a newly retired couple looking to stay busy and earn a little extra income. We love our pets and felt terrible about leaving them home alone while we were working. We are hoping to provide your pets with some socialization to break up their "workdays". Patti has volunteered at the local animal shelter for 25 years and has a lot of practical knowledge about dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice, rats, birds. Frank has had dogs all his life and it seems like there has never been a dog that doesn't gravitate to him and love him. He just has that way about him. Being retired, our calendars are wide open and can accommodate just about any requests. We look forward to meeting you and your pets!

As a VERY protective dog mom, (LOL) I couldn't have chosen a better family to care for my beloved baby dog. Right from the first moment Harley and I met them, it was obvious what awesome "dog lovers" they are! Harley took to them immediately and their dog Charlie, is as loving and gentle as they are! I was so blessed to find this couple. They are very easy going, kind and patient. I love the fact he had so much freedom, inside and out. Their yard is amazing for the dogs to play in, which they did A LOT!! They have so much to offer as dog sitters. Harley can't wait to go back and I am relieved I found such awesome people!! Thank you both and Charlie! I HIGHLY recommend them, you will be thrilled!!
Patti and Frank took great care of my beagle while I was away for a week. They kept him on his prescription diet and let me know that he was doing well. Darwin repaid their kindness by helping himself, one by one, to the dog toys in their big basket and spreading them all over the floor...…..the canine equivalent of a kid in a toy store.
Words can’t express the love and care given to my dogs by Patti and Frank during our recent vacation. From the day I met them I, as well as my dogs, felt extremely comfortable! Pictures with the dogs outside and updates on how they were doing were received daily, as well as kind words hoping we were enjoying our vacation. Not once did I have any concerns and it proved to be the best experience for my dogs and us! I hope if/when I need someone again, Patti and Frank will be available; they will be my first and primary choice. Thank your so much for both of you, and your kindness and care!!! Carol and Bud

Does your dog mind a playful dog in the house? Is your dog food or toy possessive? Do you free-feed or do you have a set meal time? Is your dog a couch potato or do they enjoy walks and games? We would require a dog meet and greet before their stay with our dog, preferably at our house so that it will be closest to the sleepover before it happens. We have no breed preferences or restrictions on breeds, sizes, ages. Again, it would all depend on our meet and greet. We want to be sure it is a comfortable experience for everyone (including you).
A typical day
We have one dog and he is a very puppyish (but well trained) lab/shepherd mix. Your dog can expect dog play time, 2 humans at home day and night. We can tailor our house to your dog's needs (i.e., picking up our dog's toys, feeding on your schedule, walks, etc.) Does your dog like the dog park? We can take him/her there. Lots of love and attention at our house.
