(Update: Hi everyone. I’m very sorry, but I’ll be out of town for work until mid June 2020) Laid-back, friendly, organized & responsible. I'm an artist and former teacher who now works from a studio at home. A life-long animal lover who has always owned dogs (except for right now) and has always been great with the dogs and pets of others. I recently relocated to Rhode Island from abroad, so currently without a dog. I found this site while looking into getting one and so far it's been a lot of fun. It's been a good way to spend time with different types of dogs while also helping out the local community and earn some extra pocket change to boot. The amount of requests I've gotten has been pleasantly unexpected and I've met many great dogs and owners alike. The house is spacious with a big yard by the ocean near the Mt. Hope Bridge. I go on frequent walks and runs down to the beach and dogs are always with me on leash when I do. My neighbor's (relatives) fenced-in yard is also a good option for dogs who really need to exercise off leash. I try not to book too many overlapping stays, but I'd also like to help out everyone who needs a hand. In those cases, I first make sure it's ok with the owners who have already booked before I confirm, and in the case in which dogs can not get along despite my efforts, I do have very sufficient means to keep them separated and safe.
