Pat's Canine Comfort Zone

Pet care experience

I have cared for pets my entire life. I like them more than some humans! Am 57 years old, have two grown boys, who live and work here in North Van. Completed a 20 year contract in the Canadian Navy and have been working here in North Vancouver for the past 16 years. I quite enjoy pet ownership and understand the rsponsibilities, I have travelled and am happy to be living here in Canada. As a pet owner you need a break also. I can help. I don't usually do much training, focused more on having them enjoy their time with me. This is a very Pet friendly home, clean but not sterile. Shedding is a part of life, that's what Vacuums are for. Hardwood/Vinyl floors through out, car rides and park adventures await!

Patrick is such a reliable place to leave our doggo. It was clear when I collected him how much they enjoyed their time together. This was our second time leaving our dog with Patrick and we certainly will again.

I booked Patrick for two nights for my two dogs from Friday to Sunday. When I picked them up on Sunday my husband realized my small jack Russell was bleeding from her shoulder. It was all gooey and sticky so when we asked him what happened he told me probably "one of the puppies" had a confrontation with her. When I got home we bathed her and realize there was a very big wound so we took her to the vet. I asked Patrick for more information about which puppy did it or when it happened and his answer was " I didn't see it happen, I just heard it. It might have been on Friday night", this means she was wounded and not treated for two days. They had to sedate her to treat her wounds, removed necrotized tissue, and now is on antibiotics to treat the infection. I consider this as total negligence from Patrick's side
