I am a university student with a female 2 and a half year old black lab, Stella. I have grown up with a dog my entire life, and have been able to manage a dog while in school, balancing being a student athlete, and working part time. I’ve also trained Stella completely on my own to be my hunting partner out in the field and on water. This is something that was a major commitment on a daily basis that involved relatively advanced commands. I have a trail pass at Little Cataraqui Conservation Area, where I take Stella at least 2-3 times a week. I do live in apartment, but have a big yard in the back. Stella is my only roommate (despite never paying rent), I also have a vehicle.
